Delia’s first love was design. She was really passionate about her job but there was something missing… human interaction. When she moved to Bucharest, drinking coffee wasn’t a habit, but “going out for a coffee” was always a good idea, because awesome stories always start with coffee.
Invited by a friend, she went to a coffee house in Bucharest, where she first met specialty coffee. “It was a cappuccino and I drank it without sugar because I didn’t wanted to destroy the drawing”, said Delia smiling. “It was sweet and flavoured without sugar or cinnamon, and I knew that I have to work in that place so I can learn coffee’s every little secret, because nobody will teach me.”
So she started her career as a barista. She got a job in the coffee house and she learned what specialty coffee means. Lucky her, the roaster was really passionate about coffee and he taught her a lot of things. In Cluj she started at Yume, where she had the possibility to discover the bridge which links theory with the final product, the selection and roasting process. She was fascinated to make correlations between numbers and taste and to learn the science behind the roasting process.
Even if she knows a lot of things about coffee, Delia’s biggest contentment is the moment when customers feel the same thing she felt when she drank specialty coffee for the first time. She wants to make people start drinking coffee not for caffeine and energy, but for it’s wonderful taste. And she really loves to taste coffee made from experimental processing.
Andreea discovered her passion for the creative industry since she was young, but those days she was a little too young to understand how this game should be played. Lucky for her, years later, she got her first job as a Marketing Assistant in Information Technology industry, where she started her career. That was the determinant moment for her future later on. Being a reckless creative, Andreea wanted a place where she could let her creativity flow, a place where she could be the connection between customers and brand and where her work could be visible for everyone, so she took her second job in HoReCa, for a romanian donuts brand. Based on her past experiences and on her passion for advertising, copywriting and branding, she wanted to continue her career in HoReCa field, and work for visible brands with awesome people behind them. Andreea is also a Oreo, watermelon and coffee addict, so this job suited her best.
